This Privacy Policy explains how Pikcn Technologies (OPC) Private Limited ("Pikcn," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Clock (the "App"), package com.pikcn.deskclock. Clock is designed to work offline. Pikcn does not collect or share user data through the App.

Introduction
Clock is an Android timekeeping utility for alarms, timers, a stopwatch, world clocks, widgets, and screen-saver displays. These features operate locally on your device. The App does not require an account and does not contain advertising, analytics, telemetry, remote configuration, or third-party tracking libraries.
In this policy, "processed locally" means information is used on your device to provide an App feature. It does not mean that the information is collected by, transmitted to, or stored by Pikcn or another third party.

Information Accessed and Processed Locally
The App processes only the information needed to provide its timekeeping features:
- Device time information: the current date, time, time zone, locale, and 12-hour or 24-hour format supplied by Android.
- Alarm information: alarm time, date, repeat days, label, enabled state, snooze state, vibration choice, and selected alarm sound.
- Timer information: durations, labels where supported, running or paused state, and expiration state.
- Stopwatch information: elapsed time, running or paused state, and lap times.
- World-clock information: cities or time zones that you manually select. Clock does not use device location to select a city.
- Preferences: settings such as alarm behavior, snooze duration, volume-button actions, appearance, widgets, and screen-saver options.
- User-selected alarm sounds: the App may retain a local reference to a ringtone or audio item you choose through Android's picker and access that item only to play the alarm.
Clock does not collect contact information, calendar events, location data, microphone audio, camera data, phone or SMS data, financial information, advertising identifiers, persistent device identifiers, diagnostics, or usage analytics.

Data Collection
Pikcn does not collect personal or sensitive user data through Clock. Alarm details, timer data, stopwatch laps, selected cities, settings, and ringtone selections are not uploaded or transmitted to Pikcn. They are not used for advertising, profiling, cross-app tracking, or training machine-learning models.
Google Play Data safety summary: the developer collects no user data and shares no user data. The App contains no ads or tracking and does not request Internet access. -
Data Generated and Stored by the App
Alarms, timers, stopwatch state, selected world-clock cities, and App preferences are stored in Clock's private application storage. Android's application sandbox limits direct access by other apps, subject to your device and operating-system security.
To make enabled alarms and active timers reliable after a restart, Clock may keep the minimum required scheduling information in Android's device-protected app storage. This allows the App to restore time-sensitive items before the first device unlock. The information remains on the device and is not sent to Pikcn.
Android app-data backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Clock. Pikcn does not keep a remote copy of your alarms, labels, timers, stopwatch history, selected cities, ringtones, or preferences.

Alarm Scheduling and Android System Services
Clock uses Android's local alarm, notification, audio, vibration, widget, and time-zone services to provide its core functions. Android may retain scheduling metadata needed to wake the App at the requested time, display the next alarm in system surfaces, or restore enabled alarms after a restart. This is local operating-system processing and is not data collection by Pikcn.
Clock listens for local system events such as device restart, time or time-zone changes, locale changes, and App updates so that it can recalculate and reschedule alarms and timers. Receiving these events does not reveal your files, communications, contacts, or location.
Your device manufacturer or operating-system provider may separately process system-level time, notification, backup, or device-management information under its own settings and privacy terms. Clock does not control those platform-level practices.

Permissions and Special Access
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, Clock may use:
- Alarms and reminders / exact-alarm access: to deliver alarms and completed timers at the time you selected.
- Notifications: to show alarm, timer, and stopwatch status and controls.
- Full-screen alarm access: to present an actively ringing alarm when the device is locked or the screen is off. This does not capture your screen or bypass device authentication.
- Wake and lock-screen presentation: to wake the screen and display the alarm interface while an alarm is ringing.
- Vibration and audio controls: to vibrate, play the selected alarm sound, and apply the user-selected alarm volume behavior.
- Foreground operation: to keep a visibly active alarm, timer, or stopwatch reliable while it is running.
- Restart and time-change events: to restore and reschedule enabled alarms and active timers after a restart or clock-setting change.
You can control applicable runtime permissions and special access in Android Settings. Denying or revoking them may prevent alarms or timers from appearing or sounding at the intended time.
Clock does not request Internet, location, microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS, nearby-device, or broad file-storage access. A ringtone or audio item is accessed only when you select it through an Android system picker or another user-directed selection flow.

Requests from Android and Other Apps
Android, voice assistants, automation tools, or other apps may open Clock through standard Android alarm and timer requests. Such a request may include a time, duration, label, repeat setting, or an instruction to show, snooze, dismiss, or create an alarm or timer. Clock uses that information locally only to perform the requested action.
The requesting app determines what it sends and may handle information under its own privacy policy and terms. Clock does not use these requests to transmit your stored alarm or timer database to Pikcn, and it does not provide another app unrestricted access to Clock's private data.

Data Security
Clock protects local data using Android's application sandbox, minimizes permissions, and does not transmit user data. App-data backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled, and no remote user-data database is operated for the App.
Alarm and timer information required before first unlock may be stored in device-protected app storage, where it remains isolated to Clock but is available to the App before you unlock the device. Information shown on the lock screen, in notifications, or in widgets may be seen by anyone with physical access according to your Android privacy settings.
No method of local storage or device access can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Protect your device with an appropriate screen lock, keep available Android security updates current, and remove sensitive labels or saved items when they are no longer needed.

Offline Functionality
Clock does not request Android's Internet permission and does not communicate with external servers. Alarms, timers, the stopwatch, world clocks, widgets, screen-saver displays, settings, and deletion operate without an Internet connection.
Clock uses the date, time, and time zone maintained by Android. Android or your network operator may synchronize the device clock under system settings, but Clock does not perform its own online time synchronization or send information as part of that system process.

Data Retention and Deletion
Alarm records, timer entries, stopwatch laps, selected cities, and preferences remain in the App's private storage until you delete or reset them using available App controls, clear Clock's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the App. Deleting an alarm or timer also cancels its corresponding local schedule where applicable.
Clearing App storage or uninstalling Clock deletes the data maintained in Clock's private and device-protected storage and cancels the App's future alarms and timers. A ringtone or audio file selected from elsewhere on the device remains managed by its original storage provider and is not deleted when Clock is uninstalled.
Clock does not create user accounts, and Pikcn stores no server-side account or clock data. Therefore, there is no App account or remotely stored user data for Pikcn to delete.

Software Components and Third-Party Services
Clock includes software components used to provide its user interface and local timekeeping functions. These components run within the App and are not configured to collect or transmit user data. The official App does not integrate advertising networks, analytics services, crash-reporting services, remote configuration services, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Android system services and user-selected ringtone or file-picker providers may participate in a feature you request. Their involvement is limited to the selected system function or item and does not give Pikcn access to your information. Applicable software notices may be viewed through the App where that feature is provided.

Children's Privacy
Clock is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. A parent or guardian can remove locally stored alarms, labels, timers, stopwatch laps, selected cities, and preferences using the deletion methods described above.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, permissions, dependencies, or data practices change, or when legal or platform requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to the App's data practices will be disclosed before the changed version is distributed.
